GOOD WORKS CATHOLICS AND PROTESTANTS

Good (super early) morning!

*Please forgive the grammatical errors.

First, prayers to Pope Francis. Though I am not a Catholic, Pope Francis seems like a cool guy. Hopefully he will get well soon. And again, Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle is making news on account of Pope Francis being hospitalized. They once again called Pope Francis the "woke Pope" since electing Tagle into the college of Cardinals and while I somewhat agree with this one it was Christian missionaries who brought Christianity to the Philippines, sooo it's kinda your fault, Christians, for Tagle being in the college of Cardinals. Of course, we wish Pope Francis a speedy recovery.

And while on the subject of immigrants.

(sigh)

I get the frustration. Look, I get it. The struggle is real. When I see immigrants sit outside their front door (yesterday!) washing their feet and vegetables in a kiddie pool at the same time, oh dear I'm both horrified and conflicted. Jokingly you can't help but sing the song social media made famous, "They're eating the cats! They're eating the dogs!" Which since the dawn of time was the stereotype they said about certain Asian countries because in part it's true. There are Asian countries who disgustingly eat cats and dogs. It was just never put to music before and now I can't get it out of my head. "They're eating the cats! They're eating the dogs!" Every time I see a lost pet poster that's the song I hear in my head made famous on TikTok and everywhere else. If you don't want Filipino Cardinals, don't go on Christian missions to the Philippines. These are the consequences of your actions.

I want to ask the neighbor questions about bathing the feet and vegetables at the same time but I know if I do it could go very badly. Instead, I walk away and reflect. (Just an innocent reminder) we all need to reflect from time to time including myself. For anyone who calls themselves a Christian, leading immigrants to new land for a better safer life is literally the thing Jesus did and He ordered His disciples do the same. So, Christians, do you follow the word of Jesus or don't you. Are you a Christian or not. If not, well....

At least one good deed a day. That's all Christ asks of you. Good deeds. Good works. That's all. His sacrifice on the cross is worth one good deed a day. It could be something as simple as holding the door open for someone else. It could be something as easy as stepping aside and letting things live and let live. Almost every day around 4:15pm when I change the stray cats water bowl and feed them dinner, a lone bee flies to the water bowl for a drink. A single lone bee. Is it a sign I wonder. Keeping fresh cool water outside feeds the birds, bees, kitties, and other creatures big and small. One good deed a day. My goodness so easy.

I see the subject of chastity being tossed around again by the Catholics on social media. I'm a protestant nonetheless I am pro-chastity until marriage. There are some subjects I happen to agree with the Catholic church like chastity and marriage counseling before marriage. I was dragged pretty hard on social media a few months back when I dare suggested younger couples (under 40) attend marriage counseling with their religious/spiritual advisors before getting married. As an ordained minister myself I will not marry a couple without sessions of marriage counseling first. There are many reasons to attend marriage counseling before marriage, but the most important reason is because marriage is entirely religious. Marriage is a union before God, or why else get married. Also, your religious/spiritual advisor is not blinded by your love and can inquire about your intended nuptials reasonably. Your religious/spiritual advisor will ask the questions that need to be answered by both parties before they wed like why you want to get married in the first place. What does marriage mean to you. What are your values regarding marriage. The divorce rate in this country (America) is shameful. It's ridiculous. Why did some y'all even get married. What was the point. My counter to the shameful divorce rate is marriage counseling before marriage. You can drag it. That's fine. At least I'm making suggestions. What are you doing to improve marriage - if nothing you might want to sit this one out.

Back to the subject of chastity, no parent raises a child to be promiscuous. That said, sex education is necessary for young teens before they go out into the world and explore sex on their own completely unprepared for the oncoming consequences. Promiscuous sex always has consequences. I'm 56 years old and let me assure you that sex is the last order a couple requires for a healthy relationship. The last order. Note I also said relationship. The priority for a healthy lasting relationship is ongoing communication and shared relationship values. I highly encourage women even if you are not a Christian to remain chaste until marriage. The attitude of a gal "owing" sex because a fella took her out to dinner and a movie is disgusting. It's vile. Dinner and a movie, picnics at the Hollywood bowl, gifts, walks in the park, concerts, i.e. dating, this is how you truly get to know each other without sex. My dad raised my brothers to get jobs and cars when they were teenagers if they wanted girlfriends because there may be a lot (a lot!) of first and second dates. A man's gotta have money to date. And ladies, I'm going to tell you what my dad, what every dad tells their daughters, if you have to pay for anything it's not a date. If he assumes sex for taking you out to dinner, it's not a date. Trading favors for sex is called prostitution. 2025 nothing has changed, ladies, except younger gals today aren't taking fellas "owe me" attitude and good for them! That's right mister, I can feed myself. I once met a guy who said, "If she doesn't have sex with me on the first date I move on." Buddy, you need Jesus and lucky for her! At least he told her upfront he's a creep. I give him credit for that.

Are you a Christian or not. Do you follow the teachings of Christ or not. Good men Christian or not never declare out loud, "I'm a good man!" They simply behave as good men behave. You will know if he's a good man by his repeated ongoing actions and values not words. It's all about values.

Gals, it's your body your choice before you meet up with a fella. It's your body your choice before you agree to go on a date with him. It's your body your choice before you encounter the consequences of promiscuous sex. You can live in sin sure that's your right, it's still a free country for now but if you choose to live in sin, you will work hard until the day you die and if that's how you want to live, welp, God bless. My Lord in Heaven provides for me. He gives me everything I need. When I am sick, He heals me. When I am without, He provides me. I literally never want. God is my watchful eye. Though I am not Catholic, I have chosen my saint to worship, Saint Gertrude of Nivelles (The Patron Saint of cats), I chose to worship the Virgin Marry, and I love Christ. I talk to God every day. I pray. I need to do better reading my Bible. Still, life is very good. God protects. God provides. Every Catholic and protestant on earth since Jesus Christ instructs us to not put your faith in men, put your faith in God. Man is corrupt and made of sin. God is Holy and Righteous. Build that relationship. Earn God's favor. Work smarter not harder! So easy.

Lord Jesus Christ, thou only savior of the world, to thee I raise my heart and mind and again thank thee for having, by thy boundless mercy and love preserve Pope Francis keep him blessed upon the earth I pray. Amen.

SAINT GERTRUDE, PATRON SAINT OF CATS

Good morning!

The sun has risen what good deed shall we do today.

*Please forgive the grammatical errors. I write passionately.

Please allow me to tell you about my favorite Saint.

Saint Gertrude of Nivelles (Belgium) is the patron Saint of cats in the Catholic church. She's the patron Saint of cats, travelers, gardens, the poor, and widows. Amen. My kind of lady. And though I am a protestant Gertrude is my Saint.

God has already informed us He failed making man. He informed us in the book of Genesis. Every creation before man is perfect. Man is God's one and only repeated failure. Adam was supposed to be in God's likeness, but Adam failed as a human being as all the Adams that followed have repeatedly failed as human beings. The Preacher Ecclesiastes warned us in the Bible "For in much wisdom is much grief; And he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow." Ecclesiastes (the preacher) is my favorite story in the Bible. Adam forced sorrow unto the world. Everywhere man goes destruction and sorrow follows. Man will end the world one day. I was about eight years old when I was enlightened perhaps chosen to see the error of man. I can only reason God shows me this error of man with such clarity that I may combat man with the strongest weapons I have, compassion and sensibility, two high power blessings I estimate 98% of men have chosen to ignore and then they wonder why their lives are a deep dark well of loneliness.

Ladies, you are never alone. God is with you. Where man has epically failed you time and time again God will not. Build that loving trusting relationship with God now. It's never too late. All that love and devotion you wasted on that man who repeatedly intentionally hurt you give to God instead. Work smarter not harder!

I worship Saint Gertrude of Nivelles the patron Saint of cats.

Dearest Catholics, Nivelles is one of your Saints. Perhaps because I was baptized in the Catholic church I feel this Saint with every fiber of my being. Anyone who harms a cat harms me personally and I simply will not have it. Wherever I go cats are sacred and I will specifically point you out to God for endless days of punishment if you harm a cat. An eye for an eye. Amen. If you thought you suffered hard days before just wait until you see what comes. My God is vengeful towards those who harm any one of his blessed creations. If you sin against me you sin against God. Beg forgiveness. Repent.

I want to find an Abbey for single women and cats. Absolutely no children. NO CHILDREN. This country (America) loves children. There are literally tens of government branches in every state to clothe, feed, and house women with children. You laid with a man; those children are the consequences of your actions. Your responsibility not mine. Your poor choices in life are not my responsibility. Your lack of devotion to Christ is your choice as was sinning with a man who immediately abandoned you after you willingly laid down for him. Your choice. Reap what you sow. My Abbey is an Abbey after all. Google it if you don't know what an Abbey is. Women who enter my Abbey love and serve only Christ... and their cats.

The gals in my Abbey will help widows, poor men, the elderly, veterans, and animal causes.

Tell me God how may I do this. I receive overwhelming generous (I mean generous!) amounts of donations for the cats. God bless you all who donate! Now, how do I receive the same generous donations for single women with no children. Please God, show me how to build my Abbey.

Doesn't an Abbey with a grand beautiful garden filled with ponds and flowers to feed the bees, bird feeders, homegrown fruits and vegetables, some hens, our cats, a library, knitting or whatever, and just a simple life of peace and quiet sound like bliss. And all we have to do to deserve it is thanking God every day. Easy right. So easy. This needs to happen.

Saint Gertrude of Nivelles found her Abbey because she didn't want to get married. Amen. Every time I think how nice it could be to find a good man to settle down with, I have no idea where the good single men my age are. Add to that I'm exhausted. Men are so emotionally, mentally, spiritually exhausting. I'm ready to retire these old bones and just live a simple good life. Go back to my Minnesota roots. In fact, that is where I want my Abbey to be, in Minnesota. Show me Lord how to get the donations for my Abbey. This needs to happen now. Send me guide of Biblical law like in Mathew.

And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
--Mathew8:19

Dear Father in Heaven, thou lovest me, I know, because I love thy son, Jesus Christ, my savior. Trusting in this I do now confidently pray to hear me and to grant what I ask. Amen.

Q & A

Good morning!

Let's answer some internet questions.

*Please forgive the grammatical errors.

1. Why Does God Allow Suffering?

If you are an innocent suffering as Christ suffered on the cross you are ascending to Heaven. You are closer to Christ in that very moment than the rest of us.  Christ has chosen you. He wants you by his side embrace Him. I pray that you have a speedy ascension to Him. If you are experiencing unbearable pain and survive you were meant to educate your experience. Tell your story. Educate others. That is what Christ wants. You were meant to survive your suffering to help others survive. We humans also need good people like you among us for guidance.

If you are not innocent and suffering all I can say is God sees all. Knows all. Repent. Beg forgiveness.

When people say, "There is no God. I'm still so miserable."

Those people might want to take a moment and reflect.

2. What Proof Do You Have God Exists?

Questions like this can be answered with "What proof do you have God doesn't exist." More to the point, God is not a fix-it man at your command. You do not command God to appear at your pleasure. Humans need to take responsibility for their actions. Cause and effect. Do I believe in the big bang theory sure why not but who created it? Something started it all at the very beginning. God exists even if you choose not to believe.

3. Why Are There So Many Religions If There’s Only One Truth?

This is a question for the Catholics to answer. Protestants like me believe every person has an individual relationship with Christ our Lord in Heaven. My relationship with Christ is my own. Your relationship with Christ should you choose to have one is your own.

4. Why Do Religious Texts Contain Contradictions?

Example? Without specifics to this question, I can only answer that one disciple's experience differed from another disciple. One witness saw one thing while a second and third witness saw another. My experience with Christ may differ from yours. My story will absolutely be different from yours. I was first spiritually enlightened when I was about eight years old.

5. Why Is Morality Often Tied to Religion?

Morality isn't just tied to religion. Humans are taught the difference between right and wrong. By adulthood we instinctively know the difference between right and wrong. We know the Ten Commandments without reading them. When you chose to break a commandment there will be consequences. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but there will be consequences.

6. How Do You Reconcile Science and Religion?

Both exist. What is there to reconcile. You either believe in science and/or religion or you do not. There are people who believe the earth is flat. We know that isn't true especially after space exploration and yet there are believers. I do not subscribe to missions of religious conversion. You either believe or you do not.

7. Why Do Miracles Seem So Selective?

Perhaps you are selecting which miracles you choose to see. Perhaps your definition of a miracle is narrow and superficial. Yesterday I saw a lone bee drinking water from the neighborhood cats outdoor water bowl. It warmed my heart as I know lone outdoor bees are either older and dying or a male bee that has been kicked out of the hive. It warmed my heart knowing the cats water dish was right where this bee needed it be. That is a miracle.

8. What Makes Your Religion The “Right” One?

Again, your relationship with Christ should you choose to have one is your relationship with Christ. No one instructed me how or why or when to have a relationship with Christ. I just knew.

9. Do You Ever Doubt Your Faith?

Yes, in my 20's and 30's I was very defiant. Thought I was smarter than everyone including Christ.

10. Why Do Prayers Often Go Unanswered?

Do you pray for others or for yourself? Are you praying for guidance or for reward and instant gratification? Have you built a faithful loving relationship with Christ or are you around just for the holidays?

11. Why Does The Bible Have Harmful Ideas?

Harmful ideas or recounted stories? Need specifics to answer this question.

13. How Does The Afterlife Influence Your Actions in This Life?

Life itself I would think influences your actions in this life. Don't you want a good life in this lifetime.

14. Is Your Mission To Convert Non-believers To Your Religion?

No. I'm against it actually. Pick your battles.

15. What Role Does Community Play In Your Faith?

My Faith and my community are two separate entities.

16. How Should Atheists Approach Discussions About Faith?

Why would you want to. Atheists who want to argue and dismiss your faith is not a battle worth picking. I chose my faith when I was a kid and again as an adult. For a long while my priorities were messed up. Then I reassessed and returned to faith. The only atheists I know are men who want to fight because chaos is all they know. They correlate love with chaos, friendship with chaos, community with chaos, work with chaos, family with chaos, nothing is good in their eyes because they don't know what healthy love is, only chaos. But more-so they simply don't want healthy love because it's not as "exciting" as chaos. Sorry but I'm not a therapist. If you haven't accepted Christ in your heart, at bare minimum we can still be civil and chat about something else. Live and let live.

Grant peace in mercy, Lord we pray, peace in our time, O send us! Amen.

100%

Good morning!

Let's just get into it shall we.

*Please forgive the grammatical errors. I have no writing style. I just write conversationally.

You may have heard about Father Calvin Robinson in the news recently. Following Elon Musk, Robinson made the same likened Nazi salute while speaking at a pro-life summit. As a result of his what we're calling the Nazi salute Father Robinson is reportedly defrocked, expelled from his Anglican Catholic church. Now he's just 39-year-old Calvin Robinson. Was it worth it, Cal? Never mind losing your title, hard work, pride, self-respect, was it worth losing your soul. Was it worth it, Cal? What happened to you, sir. How did you come to willingly belittle yourself.

No one said religious figures shouldn't have opinions, but you keep those harmful opinions to yourself. If those opinions are harmful to others, you work them out with your superiors to rid yourself of evil and sin. Once you become clergy it's not about you anymore. It's never about you. You made a promise to God to be humble, chaste, poor, and obedient to the teachings of Christ. Selfish and self-serving is not part of the job description, CAL. Everyone can slip now and then. No one is perfect but there is a huge difference between slipping up and purposely sinning against God. At 39 years of age that man knew better. If Cal wanted to exit the catholic church, there was a much better way of doing it rather than slithering out leaving a trail of slime behind him.

All God asks of you is to live well. Be mindful of others. Show kindness and consideration. We all love cats but generally speaking, humans are a lot easier to communicate with than cats. I love cats but when a big fat cat eats all the food and won't let the skinny hungry little cats eat, I get just as frustrated at that slothy cat as I do when a big fat slothy president gobbles up everything for his greedy fat fingered greasy self. When I was a kid, I lived among whiskey 7 highballs at noon-Catholics. I lived among virtue signaling diamond encrusted gold chain wearing crucifix-Catholics. Got to make that big "I'm a Catholic. I'm better than you." presentation regardless of if they even read past page five of the Bible. I know these false Catholics. These virtue signaling Catholics. The MAGA party is filled with them. Make no mistake MAGATS are neither Christian nor Republicans. They're a group of people who have broken commandment after commandment. They're a group of people who have spat in the face of Christ while having the audacity to wear a crucifix, a big giant showy crucifix. Eternity is a long time to suffer for your repeated unrepented sins. No protestant on earth believes in purgatory. No protestant on earth believes God is so indecisive to not know if you belong in Heaven or Hell. Heaven or Hell, buddy. We all know where self-serving unrepenting sloths go.

I am going to meditate this weekend, pray, read the Bible, and meditate. I need to not get so upset. I need to let God do his work. I need to sit with my guardian angel for a while. Regardless if you believe in angels I do. And lately suddenly I've been finding a white feather at my feet every other day. It's a sign. A reminder.

I need to not get so upset at greed and sloth. I make my own chest hurt I get so upset.

A few days ago, an Uber driver from California called Californians "left wing radicals" and that's why he lives in Nevada now. Buddy, did I ask for your opinion. No, I did not. I shot him down with, "That's why I like Nevada, people here generally mind their own business." My only beef with California, especially Los Angeles, aside from the high cost of living is the drama among Hollywood actors that gets plastered all over everywhere. I don't mind their politics. I'll always be grateful for LA CARE. Thank you, Governor Newsom. I miss my friends, and I'll always cherish the 30+ years I lived in California, but women actors like to think they're more important than the rest of us. I'm so over it. Nevada is a very different and difficult place to make connections. People here are transient, transplants with their families, and/or just wanting to live in peace like me. I just want to live in peace. People here mind their business for the most part. Moaning Hollywood actresses will not find the attention and sympathy they're constantly seeking, here. Thank goodness.

I've lost a lot of momentum lately. I sometimes feel like I'm that preacher in the movies with a giant board sign strapped to his chest screaming how the end is near. It seems more and more people over the years don't want solutions. They want problems and chaos. How many people today when asked what they want in life respond with, "I want to be healthy and happy. I'll do whatever it takes to be both."

I've never understood what expensive flashy cars, flashy houses, and flashy jewelry do for people. I can only imagine it must be an addiction. I know a thing or two about addiction. I know ten years of it. Still, I've always been drawn to nature not money. I'm drawn to the ocean and mountains. I suppose I should be grateful people aren't drawn to the luxuries of sunrises over mountains or more people would show up like locusts and do what locusts do. Still, if there was a way to teach humans to appreciate the free natural wonders of life rather than giving their money away to car companies and jewelry stores, I would preach it with a bullhorn. I want humans to be kind to each other, to nature, to animals. If that's my "silly" religious beliefs speaking, then so be it. I know there's non-religious people who feel the same.

Yesterday morning I saw an AI Youtube short of a woman trying to give a horribly beaten Jesus with a thorned crown on his head a cup of water. A Roman guard smacked the cup of water out of the woman's hands... and I cried. Not because of the content of the short, well, maybe a little because of the content of the short, but more so because there are people still to this day who would do the same. There are still people in 2025 who would smack food and water out of the hands of someone trying to feed the hungry and suffering. Additionally, they would do it for likes and followers on social media. We all know there are people who abuse animals for likes and followers, and strangely they get them. I'm from the Land of 10,000 Lakes (Minnesota) and do you know how many times I saw a bunny, baby deer, squirrel, or cat stranded in the middle of a lake, never. I never saw a single animals stranded in the middle of the lake. Never. Not in 19 years. Never. And yet somehow on social media animal channels these poor stranded lake animals are all over the place. It's because I come from the Land of 10,000 Lakes, I know the people shooting these feel good "rescues" are the same people who threw these poor animals into the lake to begin with. You will never convince me otherwise.

My next blog will answer some pessimistic internet accusations people have about Christianity, but my question to those people who seek to drag Christianity is this, if you are unable to live and let live, why then are so many of your social media posts about failed relationships. Your constant bemoaning about failed relationships is purely a human error. That's on you not God. It is 100% human error to not recognize hurtful people, or even worse to recognize hurtful people and still give them the benefit of the doubt time and time again. Adults know what pain is. Proof of that are all the social media posts about how someone you love is constantly hurting you, betraying you, lying to you. Proof of that are all the social media posts about why you can't find reciprocal love. It's exhausting. Worse than that, you voted for a THEE most hurtful human being to be leader of this country.

Every relationship requires equal amount of effort on both parties. How much effort? 100% or nothing at all. You don't just randomly show up out of nowhere and make demands and expect to receive. Not with your mother, not with friends, not with your husband, not with God. 100% consistent equal effort, that's how relationships work. If you give expecting to receive that's not giving, that's not loving, that's merely monetizing business. Men who say "I married her to get free sex whenever I want" that's not loving, that's demanding.

Lately I've been seeing a lot of women dragging on chain restaurants as places to go on first dates. I was young once. I might see how a chain restaurant might be deemed not special enough to a young gal who wants to feel special. I used to drag Olive Garden. Not proud of that. Until my dad took me to Olive Garden following his first bout with throat cancer. When dad's cancer went into remission he took me to lunch at Olive Garden. It was nice. Food was good. Wine was good. Service was good. It was nice. Certainly, it's a maturity thing but eventually you do come to realize it's not about where you go but rather who you're going there with. When fellas post social media trends like "Take her to McDonalds to see if she's just a gold digger." Well fellas, allow me to remind you that one must actually have substantial amounts of gold for that term to include you.

First, know what qualities you're looking for in an individual rather than just seeking easy numbers to make demands upon.

Relationships are built not given. If you want to drag the existence of God, it's a free country (for now anyway). You do you. But then don't suddenly turn to God when you're in danger and expect God to respond. That's not a relationship. That's a demand. An expectation. Every relationship is doomed to fail when one or both parties demand and take advantage of each other rather than putting forth 100% of making a good healthy relationship work every day. I could answer the following blog's questions about God with this very paragraph, but I do answer the questions with as much heart and insight as I can.

Have blessed Sunday.

The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor chose you, because ye were more in number than any other people; for ye were the fewest of all people: -- Deuteronomy 7:7

THE BISHOP and the NOT A CHRISTIAN

 Good morning!

*Please forgive the grammatical errors.

One good deed a day.

Perform one good deed a day.

Knit scarves and blankets for shelters, centers, and hospitals.

Pick up something that dropped for someone else.

Hold a door open for someone.

One good deed a day. One good act of kindness a day. You make the world better.

Feeding the neighborhood cats is forever my good deed although it's not just a good deed, I am a stray cat. I feel their uncertainty. I know their struggles. I bond with animals for more easily than with humans in 2025. Animals just want to be left alone to live in peace. As do I. Perhaps as do you. We human beings who live simply are God's truest creations. There was a time when hair color, jewelry, and clothes meant the world to me. Since letting go of material things (after all they are just things) and after letting go of my wretched vanity I am free to breathe easier, sleep better, be among people who care about me as a person, and let go of all the unnecessary daily chaos. Free to just be.

Regarding other people's drama, trust in God, and your guardian angel. Love and serve God, and your guardian angel and they will return the love a thousand-fold easing your mind, strengthening your heart, and resting your shoulders. The hardships I suffered last week were blessings this week. That was God's will, and my guardian angel's gift to see me through and I am grateful.

Good health begins with seeing, touching, smelling, all the free gifts God has given you, given all of us, but your guardian angel is only for you don't deny your guardian angel. He's there to help you. All God asks in return is that you live well. Do good. Be kind.

My neighbor's grandchildren have taken up soccer. At first, I was like, "What's that noise? A soccer ball." But kids need fresh air. Kids need to laugh, bond together, and play outside for their health.

I was raised, and still believe, the best thing for human beings is fresh cool water and fresh cool air. Go outside. The freshest air on the planet is from 5pm-5am. It's why I grew up with the windows always open even in the winter in minus ten degrees. Can't do that anymore at ground level after Polly Klaas I understand but getting fresh air in the evenings and early in the morning is just good health. You always see older Korean folks out in the brisk morning walking and hanging out at the local park with other elderly Korean folks. Fresh air for strength and longevity. As children back in Minnesota we would always go outside and play for at least an hour even if it was five degrees out in the middle of winter. Bundling up newborns and bringing them outside to breath the cold crisp fresh air was commonplace back in the 70's. Drink your coffee or tea sitting in the morning sun and get fresh air. Dress warm if you must. Build up tolerance to cold and strengthen your immune system. Face towards the sun for the healthy vitamin D fifteen minutes a day. Maybe it's all "wives' tales" but I'm a believer, nonetheless. I'm currently watching the sunrise. It's just beautiful. The sky is all pink and lavender. The world seems so calm and beautiful at this hour.

Yesterday I saw the guy who feeds the cats that live in the dunes. The kitties all ran up to him. He and I waved hello and said it was nice to see each other. If I see him this evening I'll ask if I can join him feeding the cats. What a nice man. A nice man who loves cats.

I've been thinking, how difficult is it really to start your own ministry. Also, I think I want to be addressed as Reverand. I'll get re-baptized in the Lutheran church if that's what it takes. I was baptized in the Catholic church as a baby. Commonly protestants aren't baptized until they are adults. Reverand Lisa Koo. I like it. I could start my own church. I'm considering it.

Thursday

Yesterday was kind of a crazy day. You will never convince me that guardian angels don't exist. Mine literally calmed me down after the madness. At the peak of intense stress, I suddenly felt a wave of calm on my shoulders. Like a bright light switch had been dimmed into softness and there was peace and stillness. Two things happened. First thing that happened I needed help from a help desk. I called the 1-800 number and waited 25 minutes on hold for a lady to get on the phone and literally tell me, "I don't know how that works exactly." Second thing that happened the storage unit I blogged about (scroll down) sent me yet another email that read, "Since you're such a good customer we'll keep your storage unit at your sign in price of..." Mind you this is after sending me two previous emails basically telling me to go F myself after I protested the rate hike immediately following the LA fires. I believe Christ sent the powers that be a message making them see the error of their ways. I have never pointed out specific people to God before as sinners, but I pointed out this storage company. We protestants only believe in Heaven and Hell. There is no such thing as purgatory. No protestant believes God is so indecisive.

These types of battles for the soul are the 2025 norm and people (boomers) are constantly screaming, "Save the jobs!" For what? Why should we save the jobs exactly. When I went to buy my computer cam the gals who worked the electronics department had no idea how any of their products work and literally scolded customers for not knowing what they wanted or needed before coming to the store. This is 2025 customer service in our day and age. It's maddening.

What do people want.

What do you want.

If this applies to you, why do you care so little.

I would like a world of calm. The only thing that makes sense to me these days are animals and Christ, sunrises and sunsets, mother nature and all her earthy glory. When the sun is high the world has too much madness. It's as if no one enjoys the sun anymore.

I'm writing a book. A short story I hope to pitch into a book, if a film it would be entirely AI. Wouldn't it be nice to have something "original" for a film and not yet another remake of (this) book or (that) film from the 80's. There's a youtube channel called THE AI BIBLE that intrigues me. Scroll through their shorts. Visually beautiful and how I imagined scenes from the Bible played out. Whatever your opinion of AI, give this channel a chance. Check it out. It's impressive regardless of if you believe in the content. Do I support films being entirely made out of AI. Yes, I do. Maybe then we can have less millionaire Hollywood elites griping about how hard their lives are. Obviously, I don't condone actual violence or harassment anywhere but seriously Hollywood elite gals making millions per film griping to the media that they don't know how to lock a door, I am over you. Welcome AI. Welcome.

Ok. Well. I guess there is no denying it. A few words regarding Bishop Mariann Buddhe.

The bishop's chosen battles are her chosen battles. I have my own opinions regarding the 47th president and none of them good. The 47th president has openly confirmed he is not a Christian, or anything religious. He couldn't/wouldn't swear his oath of office on a Bible. Perhaps he would burst into flames I don't know maybe. Perhaps he sold his soul to the devil I don't know. Personally, I wouldn't have bothered making any pleas of kindness and mercy to that man. What I would have done is preached the word of Christ. I would have preached unpardonable sin, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, and how the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God. And I would have addressed the president and looked directly at him as I did it. Amen. After that it's God's work.

In order for a plea to be worthwhile making, the person who you are pleading to must first have common sense and decency. If there are none your pleas will only fall on deaf ears.

Free us from the prison of sin, and by your cross bring us to eternal life. Amen.

That prayer is for the Catholics. They love it when you pray about Jesus on the cross. Catholics wear crucifixes with the image of Jesus on it. Protestants do not because we preach Christianity as Christ did while he lived. Catholics are all about the crucifixion and resurrection. Protestants don't cross our bodies after we pray because it's virtue signaling to anyone watching that you're a Catholic. It is. It's a way to feel superior. Protestants pray, say a silent thank you, amen, and eat (or whatever). And most protestants don't pray before they eat. They say a silent, "Thank you" and/or "Amen" and eat. The big showcase praying at the table is just that, showcase praying. You can pray at home. Anytime. Martin Luther (the monk) teaches us to pray in the morning out of bed, pray in the afternoon anytime, and pray at night before going to bed. There is no big public showcase praying of gripping on to each other's arms and bowing our heads like we're in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean surrounded by sharks. I mean if that's your situation than that type of praying would be reasonable otherwise no.

Point being the 47th president isn't a Christian. The best you can do for him is preach what the Bible says about Hell, Satan, unpardonable sin, eternal damnation, and blasphemy. If he fits he sits.

Just fed the kitties breakfast. None were around for soft food. I'm going to see if I can mount my webcam on my deck tonight facing the food bowl I leave out at night. I saw one tabby kitty early this morning eating. So beautiful. Thank you, Lord, for giving us cats. I feel blessed every time I see one.

The grey kitty who got scared and left me last week is currently eating breakfast. Nice to see her again. She's so big and fluffy. So much better than the little scrawny thing from last week. Good.

Loving God, creator of all living things, thank you for all animals in our lives. Please keep them safe and healthy and help us take care of them. Amen.

WE ALL BECOME MEMORIES

And there was a war in Heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels.
And prevailed not; neither was their place found anymore in Heaven.
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world; he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
--- Revelations 12:7,8,9

It is war. We are at war. Man chose war and the rest of us must decide to either fight and die or just die.

"What about fight and live."

I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.
--John11:25

We are born thus we die. We are born from sin. Filled with sin. Consumed by sin. And for that we must die. God our maker commands it. No battle cry is "LIVE!" It's always "DEATH!" May your children and your children's children right the sins of their mothers and fathers. There was only one woman deemed worthy to give birth to God's son after man failed Him. No man was deemed worthy to father His child. Only God himself could father His only son. The narcissism of men resents God to this day for being told man was not good enough to father God's son and for their narcissism only the meek shall inherit the earth.

But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
-- Palms 37:11

We are at war.

Pick your battles but decide your place in war.

And with that...

Hey, good evening!

2025, Christians are being tested, ladies and gentlemen.

Christians are being tested.

*Please forgive the grammatical errors. I write passionately and I'm a horrible editor.

Protestants are getting attacked from all sides by those who serve evil. And like our good Catholic priests on the internet are preaching, "Hell itself cannot be made desirable therefor evil must make the path to Hell desirable."

Christians close to me have faced servants of evil this past week myself included. For the first time ever that I can recall I finger pointed out three of God's fallen people to God so that He may do unto them what needs to be done in order to save their souls. I will pray for them.

In the aftermath of the Los Angeles fires businesses in LA are taking this opportunity to price gouge Angelenos knowing full well what they have in storage may be all they have left in this world. My storage unit among them. They suddenly raised my monthly storage unit by $70. My storage unit is actually an old utility closet. There isn't even a light switch in there. It was rented to me (literally a closet) for $89 a month. Now it's suddenly $163 a month. I protest. C'mon. A closet. They threatened that if I did not pay their rent increase they would put out a lien, an actual lien, on my storage closet. Welp, our relationship is over. I guess 2024 was too peaceful they needed to create drama. Bless their hearts. They actually sent me a threatening email that said they have an open check (as in bank check) giving them the right to charge my account any time they want. I'm almost certain they don't but what nice people, eh. Are they truly wondering why Los Angeles burned down? Hellfire and Brimstone, baby.

Now for problem #2. There's this guy with a leaf blower. (Here we go!) That's his job, leaf blower. I rank leaf blower right up there with seven-year-old newspaper delivery boy something third graders do. I watched the leaf blower intently yesterday. Watched and recorded. I should also mention we are in the desert. Literally not one leaf on the ground. This leaf blower comes around and just blows his leaf blower in front of units to wreck their front yard furniture and anything that's in their front yards including harassing pets and wildlife. A long-time tenant made a post on all the mailboxes regarding a class action lawsuit-thingy being (or has been filed) against the landlord being a slumlord and is petitioning for more names to be put on that class action lawsuit. The man responsible for the lawsuit is an older white man I mentioned earlier who walks the property grounds constantly talking to tenants he runs into about the class action lawsuit. Yesterday the leaf blower was running his blower for over an hour and I watched and recorded him walking up to front doors of every unit blowing his leaf blower directly at tenant's plants and furniture. He saw me recording him and he walked right up to me in my yard and made a threatening gesture at me with his leaf blower. You wish buddy! Ain't no one here interested in your "leaf blower". I only rent a room in this unit BUT this guy made threatening gestures at me and so he has chosen war against me. It's on like Donkey Kong. The wars men start and for what. I grew up in a very, very hostile childhood home. No one has yet out crazied my brothers mom and he chose war against a Christian and an ordained minister. Well, alrighty then. Then I got to wondering if this leaf blower might be mentally ill or "challenged" as the PC kids say. That said, he does drive. I realize there are many mentally ill people behind the wheel in every state every day but for a grown man to be a leaf blower the only reason for it (if he's not retarded) is because he's an illegal and/or he's the hired gun of this slumlord to harass tenants. He's a Star Trek danger mission red shirt. Additionally, I suggest he might be retarded, handicapped, mentally ill (take your pick) because no grown man is an occupational leaf blower for one, and when he walked into my yard and swung his leaf blower at me for recording him he acted like he was just blowing a piece of paper away from my feet only he blew the paper a mere two feet away further still into my yard. Then he turned around and left. I don't live alone. I have two housemates. One sleeps during the day. He works graveyard shift. He's an excellent tenant but slumlords don't care about their tenants or the money I guess. This leaf blower just makes noise for at least one hour two to three times a week. Personally, I think he's retarded. He blows trash from the left to the right, from the right to the left, back and forth. Ever notice white men, and women, are never leaf blowers. I'll continue to record the leaf blower and give the footages to the old man with the lawsuit. I only record the leaf blower because he made threatening motions at me. I'm cool with going to court over a stalking and assault and battery case. I also don't think this leaf blower is legal because he was unable to speak English but that's not my monkey or my circus. If they continue to have Spanish options at the DMV then the DMV can deal with the outcome. To be continued.

Regarding this slumlord...

I only rent a room. My lease is a month to month, week to week, day to day whatever, it's an airbnb off arbnb room rental. I don't have any stake in the slumlord lawsuit, but these tenants definitely have a case for sure. The infrastructure of each block of units are literally crumbling apart. Walls are falling down. There's bird poop everywhere which is mentioned in the lawsuit. I don't know if this slumlord is also the landlord but his solution to the bird poop is to trim the trees as much as possible, not scrub the bird poop. Also, this is Vegas, the homeless population is off the chain, as we said in the 80's. Human defecation, trash tossing, water hydrants being cracked open with water spilling everywhere (talk about no water when this town catches fire) and car break-ins are everywhere, and this slumlord only cares about the feral cats. Clearly part of the leaf blower's instructions is to scare the feral cats. Scaring away feral cats with a leaf blower is like scaring away a homeless man with a leaf blower is like scaring away trash from the left to the right, from the right to the left. Clearly the only reason for the leaf blower is to make noise... which by law is harassment. Also, in the state of Nevada, as I recently learned from three different animal control agencies, cats are legally considered free-roaming animals. Cat ladies unite! Fist pump. A person can be taken to court for animal abuse if the try "ridding" feral cats and I have y'all on video-o-o.

Look, Las Vegas isn't perfect. The best we can do is just mind our business. I feed the cats. I am a stray cat. I AM A STRAY CAT. I've been a stray cat since my divorce beginning in 2012. I was a lone stray cat before I got married and I'll be one until the day I die. Now that I know feral cats are legally protected, I am the public defender of free roaming cats. their fight is my fight. I much rather live in a world of cats than men. Case in point...

Last week the sweetest grey kitty was abandoned or dumped in front of my building unit. Someone's pet. Why people do this I have no idea. Don't get a pet if you can't or won't love it and care for it until the day it dies. Nonetheless someone dumped this gorgeous grey kitty. My next door neighbor and I were caring for the kitty but she already has a house of cats at night and so this kitty was free roaming and not doing well especially at night as you can imagine. It's below 35 degrees at night though this grey kitty a main coon with a ton of fur. I have housemates or I would have had the kitty inside. Still, I did the best I could for her. I cared for her for about five days but then that mentally disturbed leaf blower guy scared her to death followed by losing a cat fight with one of the black cats I call the Montgomery's. So grey kitty blamed me for both leaf blower and black cats and ran off to the neighbors two doors down which was probably all for the best. So that happened.

AND

I recently had food poisoning for three days last week. It was bad on the first day. I don't believe in coincidences do you. Maybe someone's dupe, someone's Star Trek red shirt "might" have had a hand in my sickness. For my troubles however God made sure I was properly compensated, and I thank Him. Setting up cameras in my room.

Out here you find out who the two-faced enemies are right quick. They're terrible at methodical thought or simple thought for that matter. God knows all. God sees all. He punishes the wicked. When the wicked die there is literally Hell to pay. For you younger generations, the red shirts  who went on Star Trek danger missions never came back from the danger zone with Kirk and Spock. They were always "unalived" as your generation says.

Like I said earlier, Las Vegas is a cowboy town. I'm a cowboy. I'm a 1980's hesher really but I can cowboy. I'm currently window shopping a gun purely for protection. It's been a while since I held a gun but it needs to happen. There's a war going on. Can't have every leaf blower in Nevada thinking he can do early morning stalker drive-by's and random roll ups on me. Luckily there's lots of target ranges out here. Lots and lots of target ranges. More target ranges than churches. Maybe I'll be the lady-version of Priest Monsignor Martinez, "Vaya con dios!" We protestants don't cross ourselves but I have a fancy finger gesture in mind to use as my call sign.

I would also like to mention that your fight isn't my fight. My fight isn't your fight. We may have a common enemy but for entirely different reasons. My friends come from all walks of life, shapes, sizes, and professions but the one thing we all have in common, our common denominator, is that we are thee rebellion. We are anarchists against every corrupt authority, corrupt religion, corruption on every level. Alone or together if you're getting in the ring with me get all the way in or don't bother. If you're a Christian get all the way in the ring with me or don't bother. If you're a fighter fighting the good fights get in the ring with me. Tag-team rumble from the top ropes or don't bother getting in the ring at all.

O Lord, surround us with the care of Your holy angels, that we may not fear but act confidently and compassionately, through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

The old white man doing the lawsuit came strolling by again tonight. He creeps me out so hard. Yes, the bird poop is still there. Yes, the building walls are still dilapidated. What do you want now, sir. I think he's in love with me that's why he walks past my building and lurks on me as much as he does. Sorry bud I'm chaste. You got nothing and I mean nothing I want.

January 20

The only celebration I'm recognizing on this day is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Nothing else is happening today.

The high desert winds are killing my throat and sinuses. I brought in the kitties' food and water dishes to wash and refill them but fell asleep. Also, I wanted to wait to make sure Mr. leaf blower wasn't going to come around and blow everything to Kingdom Come like he did last time. When I woke up from my nap, I put new kitty food and water dishes outside and saw someone had put a single kernel of kitty food on top of the trashcan shelter. Either kitties are getting smarter or one of the cat people were like, "Where's their food? Hello. reminder. Food please." (sigh)

Last night was the first time in a long time a neighborhood I lived in felt like a neighborhood. It was really nice. As the sun was setting kids were outside playing. Adults were being social and kind. I met one of the guys who feeds the cats in the dunes. He doesn't live in the neighborhood anymore, but he still comes by occasionally with a giant bag of kitty food to feed the colonies. Such a sweet man. He said he would have 25 kitties in his home during the winter at night and let them back out in the morning. I would totally do that, but I have housemates. I wish I could have kept the loving grey kitty that came around mewing last week but I couldn't. I didn't want to upset my housemates. I need to sell a script ASAP and move out.

I have an idea for a cat Documentary: Feral cats of Las Vegas. I need to find the motivation. I'm a little sad about the grey cat to be honest. The look in her eyes the last time I saw her after the black cats attacked her was like, "How could you betray me like this!" But I can't run to her every time she needs something. I did that with stray cat Buddy when I lived downtown in 2018 and look how that ended. He's no doubt dead now. Outdoor cats on average live at most five years. I loved him so much. How can humans hate cats? How can humans not live and let live.

It is war.

January 21

I received news yesterday that an old friend from a time and place long ago has died. The last time I saw him, John, was in 2002 at a Brazilian restaurant and bar called LA VA LEE. We were there to support our friend Marco who was gigging that night. I loved my LA VA LEE nights. My friend Claudia took me there and introduced me to Marco who was a dear friend of hers and her (then) husband. Marco introduced me to John and seeing Marco play at LA VE LEE became a regular thing. In 2002 I had grown weary of being single going out to bars and nightclubs. I wanted to be married. One night will be the last night you go to a particular spot and that last night I saw John, Claudia, and Marco at LA VA LEE was the night. I can still remember hugging John and both of us saying, "Keep in touch. Let's get together soon." I can still remember his long blonde hair brushing against my arms as I hugged him and then unknowingly, we said goodbye for the last time. I met my husband a few months later and started a new life. That was back in 2002. Since hearing about John's death all these senses and feelings have come rushing back. Places and people I haven't thought about since 2002. I hope John lived happy.

There's a game I play to keep my brain sharp especially since my stroke. There are a few online games I play actually but one in particular has these cards with a very distinctive color purple on them that remind me of a card game I played when I was like five years old. I don't remember the name of the card game but it had to do with constructing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The purple on my online cards reminds me of the jelly image on the card game I played as a child. It's the exact same color purple and the fact I can only remember the color purple of the jelly but not how the game was played has been driving me insane for months now. (This is how my brain works.)

It seems every time someone I used to know dies or whenever something reminds me of my childhood I go deep into my brain-palace and unlock chambers I haven't been in since, well, some of them since the 80's.

Remembering John takes me way back to 1992-2002. The friends I kept from that time are people who went through the same parallel changes. Real world somber changes. Some friends didn't change with us. Some friends got left behind or perhaps we were the ones who got left behind. Our group of friends didn't know "rockstar" John Sykes, we knew sober John who drank cranberry juice who was going through a divorce and who took pleasure with his friends doing simple things like going out to eat and seeing other people play in small clubs out of the "rockstar" arenas. I'm sure I'll be having lots of, "I remember that" memories of John for the next few days, weeks. His death really hits home for some reason. Recalling better simpler days, perhaps. My increased thyroid medicated has helped clear my train of thought. Hashimoto's is only affecting my brain right now and since my stroke I am very mindful of my level of clarity. I get mentally lost a lot less with the increased dosage of medication.

John was only 65 years old. Cancer, it's being reported.

Goodbye John. I hope you lived happy.

I better shower now before I go down this three-to-five-day psychological rabbit hole of memories. I will definitely need a spiritual cleanse after this.

God hath delivered me to the ungodly, and turned me over into the hands of the wicked.

Man's repeat mistakes

After dealing with an emergency medical issue (Hashimoto's, thyroid disease) I am back on track thanks to my dear friend Tim who in 2012 I nicknamed "Aramis" in past blogs because he looked like actor Santiago Cabrera who played Aramis in BBC's The Musketeers. My friend's real name is Tim. Thanks to Tim I was able to go to Urgent Care and have my enlarged thyroid cared for.

"You need to relax" doctors tell me. Yes, yes, I know. Doctors have been telling me to "relax" since 2021 following my stroke which is coming up on its fourth-year anniversary. I have survived four years. The average lifespan following a stroke is 5-10 years they say. At least I'm past the weekly check mark. In the beginning doctors were literally monitoring my survival on weekly terms. February 26th will be four years.

Thanks to Tim I was able to go into Urgent Care. It's a weird thing strangling on yourself. Thyroid gland. The docs upped my hormone dosage. After this if my thyroid won't behave its surgery. They take a portion of my thyroid I believe. They insert a breathing tube and remove a part of my thyroid through an incision on my throat.

I need more tea.

Good morning! (Cheery start, eh!) It's my lot in life to educate.

Please forgive the grammatical errors.

Being 56 years old is the most challenging thing I've done so far.

Yesterday was challenging. A side-effect of a stroke and Hashimoto's is loss of brain function. Yesterday I had a moment of "brain fog" where I was unsure what I was doing at that moment. I was at the store. I was trying to find some large plastic tubs I could turn into an outdoor shelter for the cats and I when I couldn't find any, I suddenly didn't know what to do next. I panicked. I was all, "How do I get out of this store! Buy something and leave." That's how my brain processed that situation. So bought groceries and left. That's why I play computer games every day to stimulate my brain. It would be so easy for me to become a drooling mess and just give up, but I only have myself. There's only me. I care for the cats because it helps my heart but let's face it, they would make terrible nurses. One cat is more skittish than I am. Everything in my body moves too fast: my blood pressure, my thyroid, my heart rate, thus I take prescriptions to slow everything down in addition to caring for the kitties. Caring for the innocent soothes me. Calms me. Without them I would literally explode, I think.

We humans have completely surrendered loving other humans. We gave up on sincerely loving. We would rather care for cats and dogs, strangers on the internet we don't know, have never met, will never meet, because being close with someone we didn't make ourselves defeats our self-serving purposes. Humans are narcissists. Kill or be killed. America has become a land of sloth and greed. That's why Los Angeles burned down. Social media-mites preach, "God didn't burn Los Angeles down, climate change and global warming burned Los Angeles down!" Forgive me for saying but I think that dude with a blowtorch might have had something to do with it too. I think humans with their constant building and lack of caring about their surroundings might have had something to do with it also. I think when the governor instructs Los Angeles to conserve water during a drought but the richest cities in LA refused, welp that's where the water went. Regardless of if you believe in God or not a reckoning happened in Los Angeles. Of all the places I've been, the men in Los Angeles have sold their souls the most. Instead of a flood God sat back and said, "Go ahead Hellfire and Brimstone. Take 'em. I can't help them anymore. Look what they've chosen to become." Las Vegas could be next. Why? Because many Angelenos fled the ever-rising high cost of living and came here like I did. Only, I care what my surroundings look like.

Sincerity isn't found virtue-signaling.

Men in Las Vegas are quickly selling their souls starting with their self-respect. I don't think men know why they sexually harass or pester.

I was waiting at a bus stop the other day and some guy, white male in his 40's, literally ran across the street to sexually harass me. Then he followed me on the bus to sexually harass me further. His mother really did a number on him, I think. Or is that the work of his father. One of his parents turned him into a monster. Perhaps they both molested him. Anytime a man sexually harasses me or behaves sexually inappropriately I just assume he was molested by a family member.

Humans want to be Forever 21. Why this country doesn't just "carrousel" everyone on their thirtieth birthday like in Logan's Run is a mystery to me. "We care just at a comfortable distance with strangers we'll never meet." What a shame.

Speaking of Las Vegas, I live near a desert dune where homeless men camp. For those who don't know Las Vegas has an entire city of underground homeless people. Google it. They live in sewage tunnels. That's reason #1 why you don't drink the water here without a filtering system. Never mind the dirt and debris, I would rather drink the sand than the water that comes out of the faucets here. It's cleaner. The homeless men who live in the dunes scream at the morning hikers and dirt bikers but one in particular has a mantra scream of, "Get out of here!" He repeats it over and over. It's all I've ever heard him say. "Get out of here!" Every morning. "Get out of here!" In the afternoons he has no choice he has to put up with the Dune-walkers. There's too many of them. I feed my stray kitties three big bowls of hard food a day. I've wondered if the "Get out of here!" guy eats at least one of the bowls. I've seen the cats eat the hard food but three large bowls a day. That's a lot of cat food, yes?

For women experiencing an abundant of sexual harassment I've thought long and hard on this subject and concluded the reason God puts all these weird creepy men directly in our paths is, so we instantly lose all desire to be in a loving relationship with anyone other than Christ. That's the only reason I can think of behind it. Men sexually harassing women is abundant in all classes. The only thing God can do to fix these problems is... well, set the town on fire, I guess.

But I say unto you, that whoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should parish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
--Mathew 5:28,29
