Good morning. ☕️🍃🌿
*Please forgive the grammatical errors
"You spelled that wrong!" (I don't care)
"You typed "I" twice!" (Again, not a single F)
Feel free to write your own grammatical grudge page.
I was fully expecting an internet war over my last blog regarding the recent Cornell situation but shockingly nothing. No one accused me of being racist even, because I know how much you kids LOVE calling me racist even when it doesn't apply. Perhaps you saw the light.
Your Cornell "outrage" reels are purely to monetize your social media presence. It's your side hustle. I understand. Whereas I don't get paid for this blog. I could. I could have ad banners flying all over this blog but I choose not to because it is entirely my pleasure to write it.
I don't hide the fact I'm a Christian AND conservative, not to be confused with a Christian conservative. We are not the same. My faith is separate from my politics, opinions, theories, and predictions. I get all of those from being alive 57 years. Faith is a private relationship I have with Christ/God, and the other is the sum of observations having lived on this planet since 1969. You don't have to benefit from my old lady wisdom, that's fine, but just know there are two important lessons of life once learned life becomes much, much easier.
1. Never jump to conclusions. Ask lots and lots of questions.
2. Pick your battles.
Everyone on the internet is suddenly a doctor, a lawyer, an engineer, or a politico expert, after hearing a hot topic headline like this thing with Cornell.
"A lawsuit against seven Cornell male students accused of ra..."
And right out the gate you social (media) justice warriors are screaming "GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY!"
But again, I get it, some of you make your living off monetizing your social media accounts. Here's the thing though, it doesn't make you right.
I'm very disappointed in our legal system if the D.A.'s office is feeling pressure to do something, or not do something, regarding a matter that was open and shut two years ago, on account of internet "experts" who barely passed high school if at all, are now rage-baiting on their socials for money. WHERE ARE THE ADULTS IN THE ROOM? WHERE? What happened to THE ADULTS who used to get on camera, address the public and say things like, "While the D.A.'s office appreciates the public's concern regarding this matter, we will consider re-investigating this case and draw our conclusions based on the evidence."
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ADULTS IN THE ROOM? Where are you?!
Social justice warriors remind me of parents addressing their toddlers in a restaurant, "Jimmy. Jimmy. Jimmy can you look at mommy please. Jimmy, please look at mommy. What do you want to eat Jimmy? Jimmy. Jimmy can you look at mommy please. What do you want to eat sweetheart? Jimmy?" Meanwhile every server on the planet wants to drown Jimmy in the nearest toilet. (Restaurant servers are Gen X in this scenario in case anyone was confused.)
Allow me to Gen X'plain the situation, moms. Jimmy will eat what he's told to and like it. And that's how the adults in the room ALWAYS used to handle children, theirs or yours. A little 1970 backhand grownup speak.
When you get to my age, ladies, it's really hard to pull the wool over. When a 20 year old woman goes up to his hotel room at 1am, or to a frat house after some drinks to visit a "friend", and then in either situation cries "rape" two years later, we ain't dumb, ladies. We old gals, we know better. It was reported on ABC news last night that Jane Doe's text messages the following day after the alleged "rape" to one of her "rapists" proved she consented to group sex, pre arranged it, and was just mad one of the guys went and told EVERYONE instead keeping their encounter discrete like they agreed. Not only that, Jane Doe text her so-called "rapist" that she wanted to do it again. Good grief. Yes, honey, we old gals already knew what was up THE MOMENT the Cornell case aired it's first headline. We knew. We old gals ain't just been around the block, sweethearts, we're it's original landscapers.
I want young women to do better. The gals in 2026 between the ages of 14-30, I want you to do better. Think first. Consider the pros and cons. Did 'Law and Order' not teach you ladies anything? Think of the consequences BEFORE you do something. Make better choices. YOU might be the only one taking care of you when you're nineteen years old, when you're twenty-five years old, when you're forty years old. A youthful indiscretion is drinking a beer in your friend's basement during a sleepover when you're sixteen years old. Having group sex at a frat house when you're twenty years old is self-sabotaging your future. There are eyes everywhere. Cameras everywhere. Never mind the fact since when have boys ever been able to keep his sex life secret? Are you kidding me, he's telling everyone regardless if he's 19 or 49 years old! And what do you suppose all of this has done to her soul. In 1987 it was 100% gossip that hurt a girl. In 2026 there's text messages, video chats, electronic surveillance everywhere - but in this particular case, good! Text message proved what we old gals already knew, buyer's remorse. It ain't called "the walk of shame" and the "ho stroll" for nothing, ladies. And yes, we old broads landscaped that road as well.
Now, and this is just me, if I were Jane Doe, I would be P.O.'d at all the monetizing "influencers" made off my group sex story, rape or not. A lot of people made money on social media for posting rage-bait regarding Jane's story. Is Jane Doe going to receive any of that money? Will any "influencers" step up now and own the fact they were wrong and, I dunno, donate the money they made off their rage-bait videos about the "Cornell Seven" to actual rape survivor organizations?
I hope and pray that in the vat of internet goop, the good girls, the ones who mind their own business and focus on their futures, connect and bond amongst themselves. Look what y'all up against. You need each other.
Now all that's left for Jane Doe to do is pull herself up, brush herself off, walk those final well earned "ho stroll" steps, and move on with her life. Do better. Jane Doe is now among the FAFO crew. Her seat at the old ladies FAFO-reunion table will be waiting for her when she's fifty years old.
In this political climate this is the best date of 2026.
Lord God Heavenly Father, guide us in your infinite wisdom. Amen.
Okay bye 👋🏼
