Before I get into the obvious January political dumpster fire of 2026, of course I'm talking about "thee" shooting in Minneapolis, first a gentle reminder, I'm a Christian conservative, that's me, you do you. That said, this is my blog and you chose to come here. If you choose to come here just to be offended, welp, that's your choice and I'm certain to not disappoint you. The only one making life miserable for you is you. Life doesn't punish, it teaches. If you're unable to delegate a dumpster fire situation in your immediate neighborhood, or those intentionally unwilling to delegate a dumpster fire situation, that's on you. Weigh the pros and cons. If your opinion lacks both pros and cons then you are among those unwilling to delegate. No point even talking to you further, sense and sensibility has clearly left you.
I had a very cool conversation with an Uber driver. A lovely black lady in her 30's who was able to buy a house when she was twenty-three years old, by herself, as an Uber driver. That's what we call hustle, ladies and gentlemen. That gal hustled. Good for her. She's a role model. Nothing but respect for a woman who can hustle herself into her own dang house at the age of twenty-three. Amen. She did most of the talking and I was happy to listen. I'm a good listener especially when the story is one of success. She and I were in agreement that Covid lasted waaay too unnecessarily long, George Floyd was murdered, and the woman in Minneapolis, Renee Nicole Good, would still be alive today had she taken into serious consideration that ICE officers are not trained policemen. Before you open your mouth to ICE agents, know they shoot first and ask questions never. This behavior is long backed up by Trump's WH administrations both 1 and 2. Did that ICE agent go trigger happy, absolutely, but you know this already. You knew this before you left the house. You know these ICE agents in particular are not good people. You already know this. I'm all for peaceful protest, don't get me wrong, I get wanting to be a part of something you believe in, but how many protests against the president's men are you going to go to before you realize he doesn't care about you one way or the other, live or die. You could all get run over by tanks, he doesn't care. Sure, all these protests will/have/has made international news but England can't help us. They hate us too right now FYI. Rightfully so I'm afraid. Our president just wants to go to war to stay in the White House. Anyone who thinks Trump won't purposely start a global war, civil war, or blow up Minneapolis just to stay in the white house is kidding themselves. He's a terrible human being. We know this. But these protests, all they do is make Trump send more UNTRAINED ICE AGENTS to Minneapolis. And you're going to do, what, clash with untrained trigger happy armed ICE agents?? Are you seriously going to get in their faces??
Let me present another picture of what not thinking first before you act looks like:
I'm a Christian conservative. I'm the 1985 Ronald Reagan Minnesota Lutheran conservative type. I was a republican voter for most of my adult life from 1987-2017. Thirty years. I never hid this fact. I decided to be a Lutheran at about seven years of age with my sainted grandma's guidance. My sainted church organ playing grandma. I became a registered republican at 18 years of age. I never hide these facts. By the time I turned eighteen years old my lifestyle choices aligned with Christian conservatism. That's just me as a person. When it comes to business i.e. buying groceries or renting a room, I don't like talking about my personal life. Business is business. Personal is personal. I usually tuck my cross into my shirt if I'm wearing a U-neck. I'm a Christian for me, not for you. If money is trading hands (this for that) we're not friends, you don't need to know that I'm a Christian conservative, we're not friends, it's business. We're conducting business, not having dinner together. But, after one bad experience renting from a guy in Minneapolis on airbnb last November, who just wanted to cheat on his wife and humiliate her by flirting with me, I felt compelled to now let people know I'm not that kind of gal who will help men cheat. Don't think you can mess around here fellas, I'm not interested. Now go be a man and take care of your house. It's my soul and I cherish having one. I left that rental nightmare. On my next airbnb rental pick on January 4th, I made it known I'm a Christian conservative. Look, be single, married, or divorced. Pick one. Pick ONE and be that. After the last Minneapolis airbnb experience, I chilled out elsewhere for a month and then decided to give airbnb another shot. I rented another place, a basement apartment from a couple who knew before renting to me that I'm a Christian conservative. FYI never rent basement apartments on airbnb, NEVER. You have zero privacy. Live and learn. Anyway, look, I mind my own business. You do you. This couple rented me the basement apartment for a month. I thought they understood as a solo female I'm not interested in whatever you got going on in your bedroom. Not interested. I imagined they wanted the $1,550 more than they wanted to be woke hysterical super lefty liberals. Awesome. Thundercats are go. But no, they rented the basement apartment to me just to mess me with me, who knows why, maybe they're friends with that cheater guy in the other airbnb house, their two houses are like a mile apart, but whatever, they accepted my rental request for this basement apartment, took my money and then harassed me to the point I moved out with three weeks left on our rental agreement. I contacted them to let them know I was moving out today but since I paid for the room until February 4th, who knows, maybe I'll need to still use it again before the 4th check out date as is my legal right. I didn't say anything other that. The couple (husband) who rented me the basement apartment tried to get me to cancel my reservation for the remaining three weeks I already paid for, so he could rent it to someone else. He said he'll "try to reimburse me" for the three weeks I didn't stay. Fine. Put it in writing on the app and I'll consider it. Make me a legit reimbursement offer. Put it in writing, bro. But no, he wanted to make an agreement off the app, just face to face, a verbal agreement. Yeah no. Are you serious, buddy? So now, he's stuck with me as a tenant until the 4th of February honoring our rental agreement even if I'm not there and even if I never come back. He and his wife took my money nine days ago and tried hustling me out of it. What were they thinking? Answer: They weren't thinking. They were too busy being hysterical white privileged liberals. And so I moved my stuff out of that rental unit, and they're stuck with me as tenant even if I'm not there, until February 4th. I wrote them a professional note on the airbnb app saying I moved my stuff out but who knows I might come back before my check out date. They can't re-rent the unit for another three weeks. And that my friends, is what happens when you don't think about the consequences of your actions. FAFO. It was so important to them to harass a Christian conservative, they ended up screwing themselves having succeeded doing nothing more than being white privileged harassing liberals. I can still come and go out of that rental unit any time I please until check out on February 4th. I moved on with my life and they're stuck with me as a tenant for three more weeks. Life doesn't punish, my friends, it teaches. Of course I took video of the unit on my last day there, and took a photo of their written tenant move-out demands, and I wrote them a professional note on the app, and now they're stuck with me for three more weeks. They did all this just because they wanted to mess with a Christian conservative. Mental illness? Not my first rodeo, boys and girls. I hope it was worth it for them. They should have just denied my rental request from the very beginning. It doesn't hurt my feelings if people don't want to rent to me for any reason. If you hate Asians, short people, or Christian conservatives, deny my rental request, easy-peazy. Which brings me to Renee Nicole Good and my conversation with the Uber driver who bought her own house at the age of twenty-three:
If you don't want to get run over, look both ways when near potential moving vehicles, and don't stand in front of, or behind a vehicle, especially a moving vehicle FFS how old are you. AND don't intentionally put yourself in front of idiot ICE agents because their guns are just as deadly if not deadli-ER than some other idiot with a loaded gun.
I was raised a stoic. I'm a Christian conservative stoic. These are trigger words that upsets the far left white privilege colonial nation. If you don't like me, whatever. If you hate Christians, whatever. If you don't like Asians, whatever. If you hate short people (seek therapy) but whatever. Lefty liberal white privilege nation is just as equally vile as white privileged MAGA. It's all white privilege. There's no difference between the two. Lefty liberal white privilege want to colonize the world, MAGA wants to colonize the world. I was just minding my own business living my life the way I choose, and the last two white couples in Minneapolis I rented from harassed me because they think Christian conservatives are the "bad guys". No, boys and girls, they're the harassers, they're the bad guys. I'm not hurting anyone. Just living my life the way I choose. I follow the teachings of Buddha and John Lennon, boys and girls, live and let live.
Why did I go back into Minneapolis after that ordeal with the airbnb guy last November who wanted to cheat and humiliate his wife? Because I'm legally blind and rely on metro. The city is where all the buses and shoveled bus stop are. I think I spent around 2K on Ubers last month. You're welcome Uber.
Outsiders know it as the "twin cities" but when you're from Minnesota you know Minneapolis (aside of North Loop and U of M college towns which are all nice areas) the rest is horribly dodgy. Parts of St Paul are horribly dodgy too but most of Minneapolis is dodgy AF. Case in point what's going on there now. Growing up on the prairie we never went into the city, ever. The North Loop back then was still a functioning mill city. Now it's condos. 3M, Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing, doesn't mine anymore, just manufacture, things like post-its. 2026 if you don't live in the twin cities you still really have no reason to go there. A concert, maybe. A football or hockey game. I stayed in Woodbury last month and the Minneapolis (city) hate went on every single day. Smack talk from everyone, everywhere, all ages. The 'burbs blame Minneapolis residents for ICE being there to begin with. Much like Las Vegas, locals never go to the strip unless for a concert or sporting event. Never. Locals in Minnesota never go into the twin cities. What for? The food in Minneapolis has gotten better thanks to the immigrants who arrived in the last ten years, alas, white people still haven't figured out herbs. Just leave out salt, pepper, and sriracha, yo. We'll make do.
AND ANOTHER THING
I'm not a fan of protesting. Are you blocking traffic so emergency responders can't get through? Are you littering the streets with signs. I won't protest. I won't do it. I get it if you must do it ONCE for the experience, maybe twice max, just to say you protested Federal ICE or whatever your flex is, but after that, what are you accomplishing exactly? You hate our president, fine, I hate him too. Putting yourself in harm's way however, is about as smart as standing in front of a moving vehicle. ICE and Good done both F'd up. The winner of that fight however was the person who had a loaded gun. The loser of that fight was the person who left the scene in a body bag. Was it worth it? The protester is dead and the shooter is facing zero consequences. Was it worth it? And this Uber driver, the one who hustled a house at the age of twenty-three, is the only person I've met who openly agrees with me on the Minneapolis shooting. Both parties lost. Did that ICE agent murder Renee Good, you betcha. You can protest and cause civil unrest and civil disobedience, but what is it earning you in the end? What are you gaining out of it? A house? Is your protesting earning you a house? That Uber driver hustled, worked her butt off and got herself a house a twenty-three years of age. Talk about making good choices. She's my hero. I didn't get a house until after I was married in my mid thirties.
And look, you can agree with me or not, I couldn't care less. Your drama is your drama. Me, I'm going to serve lunch to men who want to better themselves by working hard and minding their own business. I want to serve those people, not protesters.

They were white liberal colonizers back when they called themselves the KKK (Google it) and they're still white liberal colonizers in 2026. I don't know what white liberal colonizers hate more, the fact I read my Bible in peace, or that I'm Asian and desire an Asian American man, or that I would rather do mission work feeding the homeless instead of protesting and getting nothing accomplished other than selling news. That's all you protesters are doing now. You're just selling news. Everyone is making money off of your liberal white colonial privilege, but you. Congratulations.

I mean, there was a checkpoint letting you know you were entering Canada. A couple of Mounties in a booth inquiring a'boot your visit. A few Minnesota-nice exchanges and off we went into Canada for fishing, camping, a lower drinking age, and purchasing illegal fireworks. Good times.

"Sick and tired!" Fed up. Why are white people over the age of thirty protesting in Minneapolis anyway unless it's to colonize the colored people in your neighborhood. It's not your fight, white people. Mind your privilege. White folks over the age of thirty don't have many colored people as friends, and you certainly hate colored women who think for themselves. Y'all proven that, Minneapolis.

I married a Swede from Sweden because that's who I grew up with in Minnesota. I grew up with Swedes. He's Swedish. He reminded me of my childhood home. Are you telling me that white dude who also grew up in Minnesota married a Laotian immigrant because she reminded him of his childhood home? If this were San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York, ok maybe, sure, but it's Minnesota eh, where the whitest people on earth are. I met my husband in Los Angeles, and married him in Las Vegas. I grew up in Minnesota. I was in my 50's before I even considered dating an Asian man and I'm part Asian. Call it white washing. Call it colonizing. You're just proving my point. This white dude who also grew up in Minnesota now married to a Laotian woman is suspect. And look, I'm not against IR (interracial relationships) I just have to wonder, if the relationship started after 2010, what the attraction is, and I am not alone on this.
You can be offended by everything I just wrote but keep one thing in mind, back in Minnesota 1985 we were all cool. Republican president. No one gave a single F. We were all cool with each other. We had friends from all walks of life, democrat or republican, born in America or not, English our first language or not, we were all cool with each other. Live and let live. That's why the 80's were cool. We were cool. We made the 80's cool. 2026 is the way it is because the people are making 2026 the way it is. "Oh no, Lisa, that's not right!" Sure, it is. WE THE PEOPLE. That's not something that only applies on election day. That applies every day. If those two airbnb Minneapolis couples want to be a jerk to me because I'm a Christian conservative minding my own business, fine. You do you. It's your life, but I'm certainly not going to defend a city made up of that kind of behavior. Don't bring your bad Minneapolis attitude to my Saint Paul, is all's I'm saying. Stop your modern day colonizing. Rethink your life choices. Repent. Get on your knees and humble yourself before God. Ask God for forgiveness. You'll get it if you're sincere.
